This started off as a gift for ~ sageraven, who asked for Vampire Chronical Fanart of Marius (The hottie spunk that he is. :licking:), but as I was throwing around ideas about what I was going to do and so forth and eventually starting the piece, it turned into something more than a gift. I'd really love to do more pieces like this, especially an Armand one... but time is straining.

Anyway... It is still a gift for raven for being my 50th devwatcher ^___^. :glomp:

EDIT: Ah... I forgot to explain. He has shorter hair here because I personally pictured Marius with cropped hair in the modern times. Although, if you haven't read the books you probably wouldn't get it.

mem that is amasing i like the TONING in his neck and chin all swerly, i'm envious i can never get my people to look that atomicly sorect ewven when i'm using a pencil and paper , not alone mouse/tablet (in your case) and computer :clap: well done mem

Sweet! This is just amazing. That pose really gives him an attitude, lol. Wonderful coloring and shading going on. Did you use a model or is this all improv?

the lighting you rendered is really amazing! i like the mood you set within the image as well. it makes for an outstanding portrait, and the colours are very well chosen. :)

Wonderful. When i first looked at the picture without reading the comment, i instantly thought "that looks Lestat-able or Marius-able!"
